Changes!

I'm a mama....

March 21, 2014 changed my life forever. Heinz Edward Barksdale was born at 10:15 am. He was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. After a crazy week full of high blood pressure, moving into our first HOUSE as a married couple (one that we built at that), and learning that we would be having our baby boy two weeks early.... Heinz was born! Praise God! I ended up having to have an emergency c section after attempting the natural/vaginal route.... Little fellas heart rate wasn't having it and of course the main goal and most important thing was having him enter this world in the safest and healthiest way! 

He is here and healthy! :-) 

My little family of three was so blessed to have wonderful family and friends by our side through out the whole experience -- how blessed we are! And to top it off I don't think we could have done with without them! A baby and a new house/move in the same week? Insanity. 

To back track just a little... I married the love of my life, my best friend, and the now daddy to my baby on June 8th, 2013. It was such a perfect, faith-filled, and fun day! Seriously -- we didn't want to leave our reception! A week long trip to Mexico -- el dorado casitas royale was pretty awesome as well! So thankful to my parents and in-laws for being so supportive and allowing us to have the best wedding weekend! Brad and I are so thankful and love you 4 more than you will ever know! :-) 

My plan is to use this blog to document our life as a family of 3 and especially to document the life of our baby Heinz. :-) A lot has changed since I last posted --- I am so thankful for all of this change. God is good!
