Well hello 6 month old!

I haven't posted in three months. Such a fast 3 months have gone by! Heinz is 6 months old (as of 2 days ago)!!! I cannot believe that I am the mama to a sweet as pie 6 month old. I will try my very best to catch the blog up --- aka picture/caption dump :-). 

6 month photo shoot was fun! This boy brings smiles to his mama and daddy's face on a daily wait I mean hourly or secondly (ha) basis! What a joy Heinz is! 

6 months old on a Sunday... Out of the swaddle TOTALLY on Monday night (September 22nd).... First big baby meal of puréed avocado on Tuesday night (September 23rd)! 

Heinz you are a Mississippi State football and tailgating loving baby! You are a trooper --- the bulldawgs are on a winning streak (4-0) -- maybe Heinz is a lucky charm! The first game you ever went to was a total raining downpour so we stayed in the tent and tailgates the whole time! The second game was a scorcher but we braved it for about 1.5 quarters --- you were such a good boy! We headed back to the tailgate for some fun and good oh and SHADE!!! :-) 

Your third game was an away game in mobile!!! How fun to go to a state game with tons of our family! It was a blast and you loved sitting in your bumbo and watching the game!! We were called the smartest and coolest parents ever! :-) 

This past weekend we loved watching the dawgs beat LSU in Tiger Stadium! We decided not to go this year (mama and daddy have gone the past 2 years). Maybe we don't need to go back --- we won after like 14 years! Haha. Monica and anna came over for some fun, football, and yummy tailgate food! We had a blast and you loved wearing your big boy msu t shirt and sweatpants -- lounging clothes -- I should let you wear stuff like that more often! I just love dressing you up! :-) 

Just before you were 6 months old you got to meet a very special man --- Monsignor Murphy! He is a priest is Mobile. It was so special to have him meet you! He was the priest that married mama and daddY! You loved his voice and loved watching him talk! You were a good boy on his lap during the photo shoot! 

The first 6 months have been absolutely amazing! We love being your mama and daddy and can't wait for the years to come! We love you always! I promise to do better with updating and documenting the fabulous life of Heinz Barksdale! :-) 

Ps -- we love maroon Friday at the Barksdale house!
